Can't assign floating panel to group in a domain
Hello,
I'm evaluating the software for my company and noticed that, whether I assign a floating panel and some standard app to a group in a domain, the users in that group get a standard RD session. When I assign the same apps to the users, association is OK (floating panel appears accordingly).
I tried some trivial workaround as deleting the profile or set that group as primary but no change.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you.

Hello,
Here are a few rules to follow to prevent this issue :
1- When you make changes on your AD like creating new group or users, always use the "Update users/groups" in the Assignation button under the application tile of the admin tool.
2- If you assigned the remote desktop to a group, it will always have priority over any other applications you may have assigned manually somewhere else to another group and/or users. So my advice is to always try to keep your application assigning to the simplest possible to avoid any confusion.
3- Some applications when assigned as single and only application to a user and group may require that the explorer.exe process is launched in order to work, in this particular situation displaying a full remote desktop is mandatory.

Re: Can't assign floating panel to group in a domain
Thank you.
I think my problem is different.
When I assign, for example, a floting panel and some apps to a group it does not apply (I receive a Whole desktop).
When I assign the same floating panel with the same apps to a user it does apply.

have you tried launching your application within a user session and the remote desktop ?

Re: Can't assign floating panel to group in a domain
I published, for testing purpose, Firefox and Notepad that, of course, are running fine in a remote desktop session.
Simply, it is impossible for me to assign floating panel to any group.
From my perspective, floating panel can be assigned only to users and not to groups.
I tried deleting old users, creating new users and group, assign a new group, set as primary, all the possible combination and nothing has changed.

Can't get rid of this issue. I'll be waiting for the patch before put it into production.
Sorry

Hello,
I do not reproduce this issue, assigning application to domain groups work fine here.
So you can try uninstalling reinstalling the latest release maybe.
