Server 2012 very slow

Hi there.

So I installed Server 2012 and tsplus and it seems a bit slow. Like the interface of server 2012 is making everything slower. I tried like notepad and when I open it up it's like the open animation is lagging. Sorry for my bad explanation. Should I rather install server 2008. What if I don't get that anymore. Also can someone guide me how to install this on like windows 8 or windows 7 and allow for multiple logins at the same time. Here is my server specs

e3-1230v3
16GB 1600mhz ram (2x8GB)
Geforce 8600GTS

I installed the latest drivers from my motherboard manufacturer and geforce website.

Hello,

A slow server is not something that is easy to diagnose. It can come from antivirus, or drivers that not well optimized for your OS. Sure 2008 will be lighter than 2012, your hardware configuration seems great. Check out this FAQ for more clues : tsplus.net/support/kb/faq.php?id=38
