Hello,
No, it is not on our roadmap. You could however have a generated connection client set up in a biometric USB key for this purpose.

In our project only logging in via the web browser is allowed...

Maybe you add an URL shortcut in your biometric device then ?
You could encapsulate the user credentials within a logon page with this procedure :
