Now we have 6 servers full of users and application. Sometimes, one client use 2 or more applications from different servers and on desktop have 2 or more client generated shortcuts. Problem is that username/password are stored "per computer" not "per server", so when client log onto one server and later try to connect to another, he must always enter username/password. That is little bit annoying so it will be nice to login information is remembered "per server".

Hello,

I see and I do understand.

However when you write: Problem is that username/password are stored "per computer" not "per server"
you are wrong.

The truth is:

All connection settings are stored "BY CONNECTION CLIENT NAME"

So, the solution for you is simple: Rename your connection clients

on desktop have 2 or more client generated shortcuts.

IF you are using several shortcuts for the same connection client
Then
in your shortcut properties you just have to add the correct server to fix the problem

-server 192.168.1.120 to go to server 1
-server 192.168.1.125 to go to server 3
-server 192.168.1.130 to go to server 4

You can also change in the shortcut properties the user logon/password

-user AAA -psw 123456

So, in fact, using a generated client with shortcuts enable you to do everything you wish to do.

Kind regards

John

We don't use shortcuts for connection clients. We place exe directly on desktop. Obviously the filenames are different but on run, it shows always the same (last used) user/pass but not per connection.

You can see in this wideo. Different clients but same user/pass.
