Feature Request for Router Listener
Posted: Wed Apr 26, 2017 2:02 am
Background.
When a user installs a software like tonido ( a self hosted cloud server), bittorrent, or similar software, no router configuration is needed.
These mentioned software open ports on the SOHO router (linksys, netgear, dlink etc) supporting UPNP functionality without any manual router config changing. This makes installation of these cloud tools easy for a non IT person. The listener of the software keeps the ports open on the router.
Request.
It would be very useful if TSPLUS has a listener that opens the ports on the router so that there is no need to configure the router.
This feature will create more market for small users who are non tech and they will be able to install TSplus and access the computer remotely from the web.
If this already exists then please guide me, otherwise pl consider adding this feature.
