I like the idea of using the serial number of the memory stick when generating the client.
I notice that using the PC name has an entry in a file on the 'server' for additional security. Can the same be done for the serial number of the memory stick.
This would make accessing the system from any PC on the internet both easy and secure.
(I'm assuming you haven't done this already).

Yes this can be acheived and having a control of the list of serial numbers allowed to connect can be relevant.
The administrator would be able to add new numbers or to revoque the access right to an existing user.
We will think about this idea and we add this wish to our road map for 2013.
