Reverse Proxy Cluster
Reverse Proxy Cluster
Does the reverse proxy role support being configured in a cluster for redundancy? If so, how is it configured?
Re: Reverse Proxy Cluster
Hello,
In this case you need to add the server used for the load balancing configuration in the reverse proxy configuration as well as all the other servers member of your farm. More information about this feature can be found here : https://www.terminalserviceplus.com/doc ... xy-feature

Re: Reverse Proxy Cluster
So for a load balanced reverse proxy, it would require a load balancer in front of the reverse proxy servers to provide a single internet address, and splits traffic between the multiple reverse proxies.
In the "Gateway Reverse Proxy Manager" dialog, all application servers and reverse proxy servers are just added to the same list (pool) of servers?
The documentation isn't really clear.

Re: Reverse Proxy Cluster
Hello,
You do not need any additional load balancer. The only address that need to be redirected on your router is the address of your reverse proxy server.

Re: Reverse Proxy Cluster
But there is a cluster of reverse proxy servers? So there are multiple IP's.
