RemoteApp via Web Portal settings

Hi all,
apologies, if this is an RTFM question - any pointer to the right section in the manual is appreciated, too
When users are running RemoteApp via the web portal they get some default settings - where do we actually change those settings? We tried generating a remote app client and replacing the original Clients\www\RemoteAppClient\Setup-RemoteAppClient.exe with no success. Apparently, our settings are not effective and probably the setup exe is only downloaded and executed the very first time a user connects, anyway(?).
Any hints appreciated ...
Kind regards,
Tom

Hello,
Please avoid modifying files in Clients\www\ as it could lead to confusion and unwanted behavior.
The RemoteApp connection client will always display a default application such as the Remote Taskbar, which can be used to display remote applications as if they were installed locally. More information the remote taskbar can be found here :
http://www.terminalserviceplus.com/docs ... ting-panel
Now if you wish to publish only application with RemoteApp, you can do so by publishing your application and assigning it to your users or groups.
I recommend you to watch this video to get you started with TSplus : terminalserviceplus.com/videos/start-your-remote-desktop-solution.php
You will find here a documentation on how to publish new applications : terminalserviceplus.com/docs/application-publishing
And how to assign these applications to users : terminalserviceplus.com/docs/assigning-applications-to-users-or-groups

Hello,
many thanks for your response.
However, it seems that my question was unclear. Of course, we are assigning applications via the Admin tool. We are trying to change a few settings, notably the printing behaviour (defaults to print to the standard printer, we'd prefer to have the users get a local preview). Those settings are available in the Client Generator and I did not find them somewhere else.
Kind regards,
Tom

Ok, trying to answer my own question: looks like Clients\www\remoteapp2.js might be the right place for such modifications. Your warning "Please avoid modifying files in Clients\www\" still applies, then. Is there a better (and recommended) way?
Kind regards,
Tom
