Viewing release notes
Viewing release notes
I've noticed that my TSPlus has an upgrade available. I have 9.10.1.31 and version 9.10.2.10 is available. When I select 'View Release Notes' the web site tells me about 9.10 which is an older build. I am trying to determine if I should install this patch or not. Is there anywhere that lets us know what each build entails? Thanks, Colin
Re: Viewing release notes
I get an email with every new update, which includes the release notes, but I actually can't remember where I signed up for that.
But it would be great if the release notes of sub-versions were available on tsplus.net instead of the current http://tsplus.net/TSplus-release-notes.pdf (under the download page) which looks like a PDF-version of http://tsplus.net/aboutus.php

Re: Viewing release notes
Hello,
I have updated the release note information and it is sorted by date of release, you can view it here : http://tsplus.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... 5756#p5756

Re: Viewing release notes
Hi Olivier.
Thanks for responding but the issue we are raising is to do with the lag time between release notes and specifically the issue of not being able to find out what is contained within a small build update.
It takes a fair bit of organisation to kick everyone off the server, so trying to work out if a small build update is worth installing is impossible because we don't know what is in the update.
I completely understand that documentation is onerous, but it is essential for us to be able to best support our clients when there are glitches in TSplus.
Any way of reporting build content (especially the minor ones) when they are released would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Colin

Re: Viewing release notes
Hello,
I took your concerns in consideration and add the content of these minor update in the announcement section of this forum for everyone to see. It is not required to install every update of TSplus, especially when your users are happy with your current setup.
