I want a Stabe server - Rule 3 - Browser

Post by peter » Tue Oct 06, 2015 9:34 pm

Rule number three: Avoid to allow the users to use any web browser within a session

This will prevent your users to download and/or to install incompatible application on the production system.
TSplus enables to set the server for forwarding the use of the web browser on the user side. This can be a smart way to handle this rule.

I do not understand the second line in the rule. If it means I can have browser requests sent to the client from TSplus rather than use a local browser, How would I go about doing this?

Hello,

You can either choose to use the floating panel or remote taskbar to prevent your users from accessing a web browser or you can activate the "Url on client" feature : terminalserviceplus.com/docs/open-urls-on-client-side

Another method is to use Group Policy to force a proxy settings in Internet Explorer.
