Hi,

i am considering to purchase some licenses of TSPlus and have following questions

1) What are possibilities and limitations of transferring TSPlus license to another OS/Machine?

2) Can be AD GPOs used without restrictions?

3) What meaning has licensing choice between "Multi-session role" and "Windows RDS role"?

I will answer your questions below :

1- You can transfer your TSplus license if necessary when you subscribe to the Support & Update annual service.
The support services include our worldwide Ticket/Email support service, Forum access, license rehosting, FAQ and tutorial support.
The Update Services include the delivery of Update codes, the right to install and to use any new release, patch and updates.
The update code is requested once a year to be able to apply the Update Release patch. It is delivered by our support team on demand.

We are investing every day to enhance TSplus and to fix all known issues. So, we recommend all our customers to keep their TSplus installation updated.

2- Not all AD GPOs may be supported by TSplus. This is why I recommend you to do some testing first if this matter is important to you.

3- If you install TSplus on a server on which the RDS role is already installed with RDS CALS activated, you can switch from TSplus licensing to RDS CALS licensing by using this feature.
