HI
Just a quick question.
Is it required to put a 2008 Server into the app install mode before adding applications for RDP users?
I.e. Do you need to install the Remote Desktop Services - or does the Terminal Service Plus - publish applications take care of everything. e.g. install Windows Live mail in the administrator session then publish it to the required users ?
Many thanks

Re: Server 2008 R2 Install of user applications
Hello,
The answers are no to both questions.
The RDS role should be removed before installing TSplus to prevent any conflict. The application install mode is not needed either, install your apps on your server just as you would on a standalone computer.
