How to set up MS Access to start automatically

Post by bobbob » Wed Dec 23, 2015 10:12 pm

Trying to set up MS Access to start up automatically. :?:

1) If I set it in creation of a client, under Program tab, it says it cannot be run.

2) If I set Access as a program via the Admin tool and link it to my user, if I select the option of Floating Panel, it is displayed but again says it cannot run.

3) If I set the option of Remote desktop, it along with a whole bunch of icons are displayed, If I double click on Access, I can open it and run an Access app.

So how can I set up the client to ONLY only Access?

And while at it, I want it to only open Access and open a specific MDB or ACCDB access application

thanks

Could it be that you setup the "open on client" for MDB and ACCDB files? Open the Admin tool, click the Server icon (I think) and then Open On Client and remove the MDB and ACCDB from the list.
I was using Access earlier this year in exactly the way you want. If it does not work, then write which version you're using and which version of Windows and Office, so the support team has more information to go on.
