How to control IP Address WebServer Listens On?

Post by dcipher » Tue Jun 30, 2015 8:21 pm

Hi

I have a web server with two external IP Addresses. I would like to know how I can force the TSPLus web server to only listen on a specific IP Address? I plant to have IIS7 listen on address A and TSPlus web server listen on IP Address B.

Thanks,
Simon

Hello,

This cannot be achieved through TSplus configuration, however you should be able to use your firewall to block web traffic from your second network adapter.

I only have one network adapter. The additional IP addresses are assigned to different website and I was hoping to assign one to TSPlus.

Hello,

In this case I suppose you can create a redirection rule on your router to do so, allowing incoming connection to the IP address you need.

Unfortunately the router is controlled by the data center. It would be helpful if the TSPlus web server not only allowed you to specify the port to listen but also the IP address just as IIS8 allows.
