Re: Virtual Printer / Edge / Prints Screenshots
I am afraid, I do not see the solution mentionned on the linked document. Of course, I can change the default printer via printer.bin to i.e. Virtual Printer IE Edge, but then all the users who are not using Edge will suffer, won't they? Am I missing an important point? However printer redirection i...

Re: Virtual Printer / Edge / Prints Screenshots
Hello Jeffrey, thanks for the hint ... yes, this improves things quite a bit :-) Unfortunately this leads to 2 more questions: How can we make the Virtual Printer IE Edge the default printer for users logging in via Edge? It is hard to explain to quite a number of users (and the management) why the ...

Virtual Printer / Edge / Prints Screenshots
Using the HTML5-Client in Edge on Windows 10, when printing to the virtual printer a Screenshot is printed instead of the document. Reproduce: Start Edge, Login via HTML5 client on the TSPlus demo site, start Notepad, print, print to the default printer. As this is happening on the TSPlus demo site ...

Re: Virtual Printer lost
Yep, this was (more or less) the culprit ... On the server in question, printer redirection was explicitly disabled via the local group policies, and obviously, Virtual Printer relies on printer redirection, while the Universal Printer does not. Well, I mentioned at the very beginning that it might ...

Re: Virtual Printer lost
Unfortunately, USE_CMD.EXE=yes did not help, either. All three servers are 2012R2 64b. If I compare both servers in "printermgmt.msc" I see ports named TS001/TS002/TS003 on the server with working Virtual Printer, and no such ports on the server without Virtual Printer. Is this the culprit? How do I...

Re: Virtual Printer lost
Thanks for your hints!
Unfortunately, neither copying printers.bin (which was identical - a new version was apparently installed during the last upgrade) nor running Universal Printer setup (and reboot) did make the Virtual Printer reappear.

Virtual Printer lost
This one is probably a silly question ... On a 3-server installation (Gateway/ReverseProxy + 2xApp server), when connecting via HTML5 client, no Virtual Printer appears on one of the app servers, while it is working on the other one. I have no idea at the moment, how we got accidentally rid of the V...

Re: RemoteApp print jobs look bold
Event that is no real solution as it won't print documents correctly if they contain fonts which are not installed on client side. What are other TSPlus users doing? Do you avoid printing, do you avoid RemoteApp, or do you just avoid printing without local preview? I am a little surprised that other...

Re: RemoteApp print jobs look bold
Ok, so the solution within VeryPDF is to use -winfont and -winfont2 options. However, how would one make RemoteApp add these options to its call of VeryPDF?
