Terminal Service Plus

Is it true that TightVNC is required? I have also found the install and config docs are impossible to follow. The management interface to tsplus seems to have changed to a tile ui and I can't find some of the primary AdminTOOL features. And there is a complete lack of anything like an overview. Clea...
