Hello,

Ransomwares are viruses, just like any other : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ransomware

Since TSplus allows you to connect multiples users and work on your server, you may consider doing the needful to protect it from external threat, here are some useful tips in this regard : http://www.terminalserviceplus.com/docs ... lus-server

Hello,

The windows key allows you to use combination such as windows + R to open an execute program window or Windows + E to open a windows explorer. Since this is considered a security breach, you can disable it in the admin tool / security tile / advanced security options.

Here is the list of all available command :

Windows Logo: Start menu
Windows Logo+R: Run dialog box
Windows Logo+M: Minimize all
SHIFT+Windows Logo+M: Undo minimize all
Windows Logo+F1: Help
Windows Logo+E: Windows Explorer
Windows Logo+F: Find files or folders
Windows Logo+D: Minimizes all open windows and displays the desktop
CTRL+Windows Logo+F: Find computer
CTRL+Windows Logo+TAB: Moves focus from Start, to the Quick Launch toolbar, to the system tray (use RIGHT ARROW or LEFT ARROW to move focus to items on the Quick Launch toolbar and the system tray)
Windows Logo+TAB: Cycle through taskbar buttons
Windows Logo+Break: System Properties dialog box

I got infected with this spora!! :?
Should I pay the money as they suggest in their warning note? I searched the Internet and found several guides showing how to recover files manually, e. g. http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-spora-r ... virus.html
Should I trust such guides? My all work is blocked by spora now and I don't know what to do!!!

Hello,

If you have activated file shadowing and can restore your files to an earlier state you should be able to recover your work. Unfortunately most of the time this feature is disabled by default as it consumes hard disk space and will lead to reinstalling your server from scratch.
