Client Detection

Post by Robert » Fri Apr 25, 2014 6:38 pm

Does TSplus provide a API or another method to determine from within the program which client is being used. (e.g. HTML5, generated client, MS Client, etc.) ?
Thanks,
Robert

Yes, TSplus is providing these kind of information when using the generated client or the Windows Web Access client. On the server side, you will find into the user profile (.../RDP6/MyPdfPrinting folder) a file named clientenvironment.ini where TSplus copy the usefull client environment data.

I am using a trial at version 7.60, and cannot seem to find the file.
Am I looking in the wrong place? or has it been relocated?

I am currently using Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise and I am looking at an empty folder in: C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\RDP-Tcp#1\MyPDFprinting

I am trying to use external validation from my current website, then attempt to pass some information from that page into the HTML5 client. I cannot find anything in the system variables, and was hoping there was something else I could do.

Hello,

To find this file you must first connect to your TSplus server using a generated connection client.
