Web Access vs SecureWeb Tunnel

Post by curtis » Tue Dec 04, 2012 4:17 pm

It looks like you have been great at support in these forum and I am thanking you in advance and letting you know it is noticeable. My question is what is the difference between the Web Access and the SecureWeb Tunnel you offer? I am guessing it is some difference in security but how big of a difference is it? IE: What could go wrong in the regular Web Access version. Thanks!

Hello,

The WebAccess edition allow to use http and https web server to access your application from anywhere. The SecureWeb Edition adds a SSH tunnel for even more security, which means that you can access your TSplus server with https connection through a SSH tunnel.
Now today we have never seen any customer have any security issue with the use of any version of TSplus, this is just a matter of personal choice and security. If you feel that your users may have to access sensible data from anywhere than maybe you can consider this option. 8-)
