Virtual Printer systray icon gone

Hi,
i noticed on my windows 10 client, that the systray icon for the Virtual Printer is gone.
The Virtual Printer works, but i cannot switch my default printer.
How can i get the systray icon back?
I've also tried the VirtualPrinterTool.exe but this application always complains about missing .Net 3.5 installation on my client.
i have only .Net 4.8 installed on my client.
Is there a way to get the systray icon back without using VirtualPrinterTool.exe and .Net 3.5?
