Cannot login in correctly via web interface but workaround works

When I login via the web interface and carefully enter the ID and password, I note the check box on both fields briefly before I get:

http://xx.xx.xx.xx/index_applications.html#
No application is currently assigned to you, or the logon typed is invalid.

and it hangs there.

Then if I type:
http://xx.xx.xx.xx/software/html5.html

I see flashed up
"your online security is important to us. Please wait while we secure your connection."

and

Then I see the app correctly displayed/usable under
http://xx.xx.xx.xx/software/html5.html

It may be related to cookies and cached data. TSPlus stores about 20 cookies. I deleted all cookies and cleared the cache on chrome and it now works.
Chrome is my default browser and what is run when my desktop starts the shortcut with the url.

A bit flakey though. Sometimes it works fine. Some times not. But within 1-3 times it works.

Also works with Edge, Brave and Firefox.

Just to clarify I do not believe this is a chrome problem. Rather a problem with the portal app software and how it uses "cookies" (I am informed that HTML5 does not use cookies but rather window.name variables) to save information used for connecting.

Also throughout all this, classic Windows RDP has been rock solid.

I have received three emails from TSPlus folks regarding my service request. One I supposed is from USA support and the other two from France, the TSPlus HQ.

My reply back:

Whatever is the cause, it would be great to get it fixed. As newly licensed users, the flakey-mess of the interface is intolerable.

I later removed Lastpass and McAfee add-ins to Chrome. It ran solid with only 1 hickup in 13 connections.

After that I added back Lastpass only. It has run successfully for 5 times to date.

I am hopeful.

P.S. One user running a MAC has has no difficulties in running the browser interface.
