Reconnect Disconnected Sessions

Hello,

We have 8 TSPlus servers, 4 with Win 2012 R2 and 4 with Win 2016. For some time we have problem with RemoteApp when internet stop for few seconds, it complety disconnect session so user must reconnect again. Earlier versions are worked that session freezes few seconds and continue. Normal Remote Desktop works that way, it's annoying that RemoteApp disappears for every internet interruption. Is there any solution for this?

Hello,

We have not changed a single line of code regarding this, so your issue may come from a windows update especially if you did not make any change recently.

You can check the status of the "Allow automatic reconnection" GPO here :

Navigate to Local Computer > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Connections
Select Automatic reconnection
Change the key's state to "enabled"
