Serial port redirection

Post by SaleCar » Sat Aug 18, 2018 6:35 pm

Is there any issue with TSP and serial port redirection? It doesn't work.
On client we have selected "COM ports" in "Local resources" but no one redirects.

When put "change port" in cmd, it returns just:

C:\Users\Administrator>change port
AUX = \DosDevices\COM1
COM1 = \Device\Serial0

insted of this (from internet):

C:\Users\Administrator>change port
AUX = \DosDevices\COM1
COM1 = \Device\Serial0
COM2 = \Device\RdpDrPort\;COM2:2\tsclient\COM2
COM3 = \Device\RdpDrPort\;COM3:2\tsclient\COM3

Hello,

Could you try again with a new connection client and check all devices from the "local resources" tab of the client generator ?

Now it work when we set group policy "Do not allow COM port redirection" to Disabled.

Default settings is "Not configured" and seems like that Microsoft treats that as disallow ;)
