Hello

some users are reporting, using the TSPlus HTML5 version by the browser, to get error (see attachment please) using the TSPlus File manager, trying to upload documents to server: "Error: folder not available, not yet logged".

But user are correctly logged in and using successfully our remote pubblished application in the meanwhile.

What can be done to avoid such error ?

Any suggestions will be kindly appreciated.

We are using TSPlus 9.10.2.22 served by a Windows 10 machine (Version 1511).

Best regards.

Hi.

We are facing this exactly same problem, however on a Windows Server 2012R2.
It is intermittent, the user has to close the connection (HTML5 access) and enter back. It starts working again until it fails once more.

Please, any word of advice on this would be very welcome.

TSplus version 14.30.11.5

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Ivan

Hello IvanGB,
i assume your version is from last year November 2020. It is highly recommanded to upgrade firstly to latest version.
If issue continues to appear on latest version then attach the picture of this error.

By customers who use third part load balancing it is good possible that their used load balancer reroutes the http/https request to another target server than originally the connection was created for, and as result you get such error. In such case you must contact third part load balancer manufacturer for possible solution, as example generate session hash that will remain for opened tab and can be used by third part load balancer to freeze the http/https client->server route permanently for session duration.

Hi juwagn.

Thanks for the reply.
And nope, there is no loadbalance in this case, it is a single server scenario.
Any other idea of what could be going on?

Best.

Ivan

Hello IvanGB,

i would need access to problematic server to tell more instead making theories.

Sincerely yours, JW.

Hi juwagn.

Theories usually help too, you know?
Anyway, messing with a production server requires some careful measures, I will see what we could do. Moreover, it is an intermittent issue, we might look at it and not see anything going on... that is when a "theory" could help investigate the case.
So, if you think you have some, I would still like to hear it.

Best.

Ivan

Hello IvanGB,

What can happen when you update from an old release to a recent one, is that it keeps the browser cache from the version 9. To fix this, you can clear your browser's cache by pressing CTRL+F5 or try with a different browser.

Reinstall TSplus completely if this issue still persist.

Hi Olivier.

Thanks for the reply.

What version 9?

And I haven't updated anything on this server for a long time now. More, if the user Logs Off and immediately logs back on, in the same browser, it works again for a while, until it breaks. So, it is not a browser refresh thing.
Could you think of something else?

Best.

Ivan

Hello,

We do not support version 9 anymore, this is why it is highly recommended to update.
