11/12/2014 Windows Update has broken TSPlus

After a batch of Windows Updates last night, TSPlus was not allowing concurrent logons this morning.

I've manually uninstalled all of the Windows Updates that were applied last night, and it resolved the issue.

I post this in case others are experiencing the same issue today. If anyone identifies which update causes the problem, please post it here.

The patch number that causes the problem is: 3743
Uninstall it and all is working.

What version of TSPlus are you using?
I am curious if the current version of TSPlus has this issue as well.?
This appears to be the same or similar issue following last month's security patches. I am curious if TSPlus is correcting this issue or just un-doing Microsoft security patches.

When will a TSPlus update be released to resolve this issue once and for all?

Same issue I'm also facing. Is TSPlus going to release any patch as they did last month?

Un-installed critical patch KB3003743. Exploit, I mean TSPlus works fine now.

MS14-074: Vulnerability in Remote Desktop Protocol could allow security feature (TSPlus access to OS)

I want TSPlus to release a patch for their product, not to un-do this patch. Please

I am sure they will fix it, we have been using TSPlus for over 2 years now and this is the 1st time that we had issues stinks it has been in back to back months but I have faith they will fix it, after the last issue I am manual doing updates on my server.

Let other said this is due to IBM finding a 19 year old bug in the Microsoft OS.

This is because TSPLUS apparently uses undocumented features windows. During operation, very little of their own processes. It processes logonsession.exe , floatingpanel.exe , svcmain.exe , svcac.exe , svcweb.exe . Everything else, including user authorization and terminal sessions using the process windows, making only the changes to the registry and group policy.

Any update on this issue? It would be nice to have before the weekend that way I can apply the patch over the weekend to my business clients...

I have been doing some testing this weekend and I have noticed that KB2984972 & KB3003743 still do NOT allow remote computers to remote into your TSPlus server.

for the time being I have wrote a script that removes all KBs that are know to cause issues, however I feel this is a temporary fix and hope to have a true fix soon.

I've also found that removing just KB2984972 & KB3003743 doesn't resolve the issue. Any chance you can share the list of Kbs that need to be removed?
