Help TSPLUS stop working

Post by mpnegro » Wed Oct 15, 2014 12:24 am

After yesterday updates of windows TSPLUS stop providing multiple sections for users. Right now I've 2 servers withj this problem.
I can't run any update from TSPLUS because it tells me he don't support WIN_7 Sp1.
Can someone help me out with this?
Regards

Hi,
same here!
Uninstalling the win-updates, one by one, brought back functionality.
But thats not really a solution, more a quick and dirty fix!

cheers

I had the same problems (Windows Server 2012)
The following solution worked for me:
1. Disable Automatic Windows Updates.
2. Uninstall Windows Update KB 2973501
3. Restart
...wait...

Thanks for that, just had a load of users call my office as they couldnt access our 2012 server. All up and running again.

Hi All,

I had the same problem too on a Windows 7 Pro SP1 (French).

Thank you danielhoppe for your hint.

For your step 2, on a Windows 7 Pro SP1, I uninstalled 2 updates related to RDP: KB2984976 and KB2984972.

The uninstall of the first one (KB2984976) did not solve the problem but the second one yes.

Hello,

This means something went wrong in you TSplus installation. Probably because of a Windows update or antivirus blocking the installation.
Please download and install hdl-files.com/CompatibilityUpdate.exe
You will need to reboot your server.

You might need to set an exclusion rule in your antivirus on the following path : C:\Program Files (86)\TSPlus and C:\wsession

Hi Admin,
If I apply the MS updates, after that i can't install any of your *.Exe files. Something telling me that the WIN_7 SP1 is not supported or something like that

The compatibility update patch has been updated this morning to ensure compatibility with all of the latest KB from Microsoft so everything should be ok now.
