Sometimes I want to log in to the desktop and sometimes I just want to run the apps.
Is it possible to have 2 different TSPlus clients.
The first will bring up a full windows desktop.
The 2nd will just run apps from the TS Plus server.
Or is there some other way to achieve this?
Cheers
David

Re: 2 x TSPlus clients
Hello,
Yes you could have a client configured to open a session with a user to whom you assigned a full remote desktop, and another client configured with a different username with only one app.

Thank you,
However, I want the same user to log in, not different users.

Re: 2 x TSPlus clients
Hello,
Well this could be possible as well, if you generated a first client with remote desktop. And the second client with the single path application field filled in with the path of the application you need to launch. To do so, open the client generator and click on the program tab, click browse to find your application. The next time a session will be opened with this client the user will start the application you have set there instead of a full remote desktop.

Re: 2 x TSPlus clients
Thank you , this is closer to what I am after.
However, I have 6 applications I have set up to run remotely so I want to run the TS Plus task bar.
Is this possible?

Re: 2 x TSPlus clients
Hello,
Yes it is possible. You need to assign the remote taskbar to your users(or groups) within the admin tool.
Note that all the applications that are visible within the remote taskbar are the application shortcuts located in the desktop folder of the users (C:\Users\David\Desktop), so if you add or remove a shortcut in that directory it will automatically be reflected in the user session. No need to reboot or log off for it to be effective.
