Hi,
I have given a try to the new Virtual Printer, but noted that is missing support for duplex printing; why you do not support this feature ?
Nowadays, duplex printing is a popular feature used in many printers.

In an environment where the printers does not change very often, we usually install the native printer drivers; what are other advantages of using the Virtual Printer instead of installing the native drivers?

Can you state what are the advantages of using the Virtual Printer instead of using the native Microsoft Easy Print driver that offers native driver dialogs, support for accessing the customized print presets and support for duplex printing ?

I am asking you this questions because we need a more precise comparison over this three technologies while evaluating an eventual adoption of your Virtual Printer.

Thanks

Hello,

The Virtual Printer is perfect for when in need of a printing solution where easy print drivers are not supported. This add on comes in complement to the Universal Printer, which is already a great feature as it reduces the hassle of using redirected printers.
We wanted to have a better remote printing offer to cover any specific needs that can be encountered when using TSplus.

Thank you for the response, Olivier.

Regarding duplex printing, any plan for the future ?

Hello Carlo,

Duplex printing is already supported if you print using the Universal Printer using the PDF preview. Doing so, you will be able to print using the local printer driver located on client side.

This feature is not planned to be updated in the near future.
