Terminal Service Plus

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid your customers seeing the dreaded "windows needs to update" messages - in 2012/2016 server it seems pretty unavoidable. I'm fine with automated windows updates, but I would like for them to occur at around 2am always - but all I can find is setting a 12 hours window for them to not occur.
