Hello, I put TSPlus on an XP machine many years ago and don't remember having any trouble setting it up. Today I tried TSPlus (trial of latest version) on a Windows Server 2016 test machine and am completely stuck. FYI the machine is in a workgroup and not domain and I have administrator access.
There were no problems or errors during installation of TSPlus and I rebooted the machine at the end of installation. When I try to RDP into the server I get an error "The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license.".
The TSPlus installation instructions do say "On Windows Server Environment (2003 to 2016) please make sure that the TSE/RDS role and the TSE/RDS licensing role are not installed to prevent conflict with TSplus services." but I can't find "RDS role" or "RDS licensing role" listed as active anywhere. I can find the "RDS Session Host" role and when I uninstall it I can't connect to the server via RDP anymore! Can anyone help? Thank you.
Installation on Windows Server 2016
Re: Installation on Windows Server 2016
OK just rebooted the server a second time and now I can now RDP into the server ???!!
I know that my problem is now fixed (without knowing *why*), but if anyone could share their experience installing on Windows Server 2016 then it might be useful to others. I did a search and there's not much discussion about 2016 on this part of the forum.

Re: Installation on Windows Server 2016
TSPlus runs without any issue on Win2016.
But you have to disable any RDP (-Role) before in Win2016.
