Re: 2019 Server

This official Tip from TSPlus states otherwise. Why would you 'not be surprised' by 2019 running slower? This article says it is the fastest (and why we officially switched to 2019 going forward for our OS of choice after we read this). https://support.tsplus.net/support/solutions/articles/440014445...

Re: A few questions / suggestions

Was #3 ever discussed from this thread? It would really be a huge plus for Windows devs trying to make their apps "Web" like.

Re: No One should install Windows Update KB4534307

We have complete control over Windows Updates, however we have to keep up for security protocols. We had no reason to think this update would be a problem. Generally our testing is a login of our system after the update. This broke on 2nd login for our customers. We're having to change now the way w...

No One should install Windows Update KB4534307

Doing so will only allow 1 user to login. We learned this the hard way and I don't see it posted anywhere else. Rollback fixes the issue but can take 30-45 minutes.

I've been told it's being worked on and we'll be notified.

Re: Windows Update of April 9th compatibility issue

I understand that it's tough to get a huge headstart - but I"m just asking for a email noting when things like this occur. Just something we could signup for for problems and release notes when a new update happens. Otherwise I have to check the forum every single day. In this case the forum had an ...

Re: Windows Update of April 9th compatibility issue

Is there any way we can be notified as soon as critical windows patches that break things like this are found? I had not seen this 1 posting and we walked in today to 600 users down at 1 customer. Now we have to go notify all our other customers to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to them. An...

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!

Will do. We rolled back the fix on one of our test servers where we could duplicate. I'll send connection info.

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!

Will there be a patch for this, beyond the fix that was listed up top? I'm having a ton of customers get this today.

Thanks,

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!

Ah.... nevermind. It appears the server decided to do an update at that time... I can seem to get in now. I haven't gotten the error yet so far so good.

Re: Target RDP Server not accessible!

FYI, we are getting the exact same thing so I tried the GPO changes.... However now when I try to get into my Azure Cloud server where I was having this problem I can no longer get into the machine. Any ideas?
